Departed MT at 6am, arrive Moab at 6pm. Great roads and easy winter weather. Light was still in the air upon arrival in Moab. Checked in and with Annie's navigation skills eventually found our lodging...the Kokopelli Inn. Pretty funky retro place but we can cook, sleep, hit the hot tub, and yes, also this technological advantage as well.  We did some grocery shopping, had a beer, ate dinner in that order. Enya was a splendid traveler today. Annie has trained her well and she knows what to do once in the car as well as in the parking lot at stops. Utah is still sanitary, we left no messes in our wake.

Our plan for tomorrow is a little breakfast and head out (with pooch) for an arch that I hiked to a number of years ago on a previous trip here.  It'll be grand having the chance to get outside and take in the air and the magic of this land. The light is very peculiar and wonderful here and of course the topography has always held a voice for me. I aim to put to good use the camera's that Autumn  has kindly let me take along and hopefully send along some images.  Thanks Autumn for the cameras and training.
